Emphasis is placed on programming techniques required to create dynamic web pages using PHP scripting language features. WEB 230 Implementing Web Services (Fall 2008)

| This course covers website and web server architecture. Topics include installation, configuration, administration, and security of web servers, services and sites. Upon completion, students should be able to effectively manage the web services deployment life-cycle according to industry standards. Our course will focus on selecting a web hosting provider, choosing a domain name, search engine optimization, web site management using a open source content management system (Joomla).

include career options, technical vocabulary, dimensional analysis, measurement
systems, engineering graphics, calculator applications, professional ethics,
safety practices, and other related topics.
Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding
of the basic technologies, prepare drawings and sketches, and perform computations
using a scientific calculator. |
